HELLO, MAMA.
I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE.

I'm Charlotte, founder of Little Leaves Play.

This is the bit where I tell you all about myself and Little Leaves Play. But before we get to that, let me ask, how are you? How are you, really?

You are probably up to your eyeballs right now, juggling feeds, nappy changes, sleepless nights, feeling lonely, overwhelmed or experiencing emotional highs and lows. Or perhaps your little one hasn't arrived yet and you're wondering what life will be like when they do.

As a Mama of two myself, I get it.
I really do.

And I know how vital support and community is in those early days, months and years of parenthood. Becoming a parent is incredible - but it's also hard work. And trust me when I say - you're not meant to do this parenting thing alone.

I went to many different baby sessions, but no one asked me (not once) how I was. How I was getting on as a new parent? I would turn up to the class/group and return home sometimes having spoken to no one. I knew I couldn't be the only person this was happening to and I knew that this was not how it should be. So I decided I was going to start my own business which would put parents' wellbeing and baby development at its heart.

Here's a little secret about me - As a Primary school teacher, I know the importance and benefits of 'play' for a child, however, I used to really struggle to 'play' with my own children. I embarked upon this journey partially for my own benefit, to give me ideas of things I could be doing at home with them and I'm glad to say that they are both my little helpers when it comes to trialing ideas out for classes. Our house is now full of play!

"Charlotte's classes are lovely from start to finish"

“I would recommend this course to all new mums. Not only for bonding with baby and learning a great new skill, but for the chance to meet other mums, and benefit from the support that brings. Charlotte’s class is lovely from start to finish.”
