Little Leaves Play Terms & Conditions
Bookings & Payment
Your completed booking form is required at the time of booking. Payment via bank transfer is required within 24 hours of making the booking. For returning customers, payments will be required within the given time frame in order to secure your dates and place on the classes. After this time, your place will be opened up to others.
Cancellations
Payments made for courses, classes and workshops are non-refundable.
In the event of in person classes being cancelled due to adverse weather, venue unsuitability (at very short notice and no other suitable venue can be found), or other unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made to find a suitable date and time to run the missed session.
In the event of classes being cancelled due to low class numbers, full refunds will be given.
If a session is cancelled due to instructor illness, an attempt will be made to reschedule the session. If this is unsuccessful, full refunds will be given for the missed session. Please note that notification of cancelled classes due to instructor illness may be given at short notice, therefore it is important for your contact details to be kept up to date. Email littleleavesplay@gmail.com if you need to change any details from your original booking form.
Missed classes due to sickness/holidays/appointments
Please do not attend classes if you or your baby have a contagious illness or are showing any signs of sickness. (BABY MASSAGE/BATH BABIES CLASSES - Any illnesses in a baby would be a contraindication to massage and it would be unsafe to take part in the class).
Please do not worry if you miss a class due to illness, holidays or appointments. All of our course prices include access to a shared space with content which can be used at home.
No refunds will be given for missed classes.
Immunisations - BATH BABIES AND BABY MASSAGE
You are welcome to attend your sessions, but baby will not be able to take part in the bath or massage sections within 72hrs of your baby having their immunisations.
Health & Safety
This is always of paramount concern. However, Little Leaves Play are not liable for any loss, damage or injury that may occur whilst attending our classes. You are bound to disclose any information regarding your baby's health on your booking form initially, and if there are any changes throughout the duration of your class bookings. You are responsible for all applications of skills you may practise outside the classes both now and in the future.
If your baby has specific health issues, permission from your baby's GP/paediatrician should be sought before attending our classes. We may contact you prior to the classes commencing if we feel we need further information. Please contact us if you have any questions about whether bath babies, baby massage, or any of our classes are suitable for you or your child. Other contraindications to bath babies and baby massage, or times when it wouldn't be safe to practise these skills include: acute infections, fever, sickness, diarrhoea, undiagnosed lumps and bumps, contagious disease, serious skin complaints, inflammation, recent haemorrhage, jaundice, meningitis, childhood leukaemia, brittle bones and recent immunisations. Massage should also be avoided on areas of localised skin disorders, cut and bruises, unhealed or inflamed naval and open sores.
You will be asked to perform an oil patch test on your baby to check that it is safe to use if attending our bath babies or baby massage courses. Always follow the instructions on the bottle for storage and use.
Hot drinks may be served in lidded cups and these are to be kept out of the reach of children.
Little Leaves Play follows rigorous checks of venues and equipment, to ensure that they are clean and safe. Often equipment used within classes will have an older age range suitability. All resources provided in classes are to be used with parental discretion and supervision at all times and children are not to be left unattended.
Participants are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of themselves and their child/children during the entire length of the class they are attending.
The removal of shoes is expected for hygiene reasons.
Participation at any Little Leaves Play class is entirely at your own risk. Participants are encouraged to do as much or little as they feel appropriate and to work within their own physical/mental limits.
Ground Rules
Little Leaves Play aims to create a welcoming, safe and comfortable space for each participant to learn and share. The classes are spaces where strict rules of confidentiality (keeping what is said at the group within the group) will be adhered to at all times. Rules of kindness, respect, and equality will be adhered to at all times. Little Leaves Play reserves the right to expel any participant found to be breaching these ground rules. No refunds will be given.
